Did you apply as a Sole Proprietor using your own First and Last names as the business name -or- did you apply using a company name? If you used a company name have you registered it with your state or local government so that Chase can verify it from public records? If you applied using an unregistered company name Chase will typically reject the application, but it sounds as if Chase found a bankruptcy record for a company with a similar name.
