I don't wish to be a downer on that, but what was the reason there was a lack of crew? It is not beyond imagination that it was due to the widespread weather disruption due to the weather yesterday evening which caused all sorts of delays and diversions.

You should put in a claim for compensation of course, but it may be the underlying reason is weather is the reason I am afraid.
