I called in to get the credit added and folio adjusted, but learned on the phone that the check-in agent was mistaken and that the Amex FHR rate doesn't allow receiving the credit. It's only $50 (had a guest as well) so I don't think I'm going to escalate, but wanted to see if anyone had any recent data points.
Some properties are taking the position the credits do not combine.

It may be something you could take up with American Express but this seems to be a topic that individual properties are making up their own rules on.

Of course in the old days where it was Gold/Diamond "comp breakfast" you always still got the "comp breakfast" for being Gold/Diamond, then you got the American Express FHR Credit to use at other times of day... not sure what changed other than properties making up their own rules and zero support from Hilton Corporate to set properties straight.

If you get a survey I'd give them a big 0 for delivery of Honors Benefits.
