I really don't understand how the tickets are released. When I called AS, the agent said CX used to release tickets daily per the agreement of 331 days (?). But now it is very sporadic, sometimes every 3 -4 weeks....

Other than checking daily, is there other suggestion on a more effective to hunt this one J ticket?
Key words. Only when BA and better yet, QF, also show space, that you can be 90% sure the space is available. Whether it is bookable by AS, remains uncertain.

Did you guys still not understand that CX is not the same CX before? Just a couple months ago on its conference CX said it hoped to resume to X% of its former schedules by late 2024... Late 2024!
On top of that, the seats on their NA-HKG routes are selling like hotcakes because China and US still have not resumed most of the flights like pre-Pandemic, and probably will never be at least within 2023 given the relationship between the 2 countries.

If you are looking at Origin from Europe, then you literally can buy a MUC-HKG r/t in business class with less than 2000 euro for Sept flights based on a friend's DP (he bought it a couple weeks ago.)

NA-HKG? forget about it.
