I was flying QR business but I entered with AMEX Platinum. QR uses the awful Air France lounge at SFO.
Apologies if I caused confusion by mentioning QR, I mentioned them to give an idea of when my departures are, as I think I was often there around when lounge opened and not directly overlapped with VS flight times, so maybe that's a factor.
