JFK to WAW in Business
Flew biz. Sat middle column. Was bracing for a bad experience but overall had a decent enough one.
Lounge at Terminal 7 was fine. Appreciate that food was a la carte by ordering with staff, but the food wasn't probably better than just plated microwaveable foods. I will take it over having to order overpriced offerings in the terminal, but nothing to really make you feel that much better about eating over the food service on the flight. No showers available. The drink offerings though was a plus with various decent cocktails that could be ordered along with the a la carte food menu.
While the 2-2-2 may lack privacy, sleeping was easy enough and not having my legs in a tight cubby hole was appreciated. Did find it weird that to be given essentially a tablecloth to drape over my seat as a bed cover. The cabin was pretty warm at times given no individual air vents. Still appreciated getting some sleep for a redeye.
Food was fine if just a bit underwhelming. Still better than Polaris... Appreciated that dinner service was by cart and individual plates without everything plopped onto a tray. One note was that they did service one aisle at a time rather than front to back on both aisles simultaneously. Offered OJ or water after boarding. Was nice to get a small appetizer thing (mushroom filled with a creme) after boarding.
Staff was polite and conversed with a few folks. The amenity kits were nothing to write home about but at least weren't as barren as I was bracing for.
Overall I would fly again when traveling out to Central/Eastern EU.
