Is AFKL having an (over)pricing problem?

I see more and more people are commenting on social media and I also see it myself that AFKL prices seem to be going really crazy lately. Are you observing this as well for your usual routes?

In my case I’ll be forced for the first time in a long time to have to choose LH over AFKL because AFKL prices were consistently double. 😱 I’m willing to pay a bit of an extra and not choose another airline due to the status benefits, but there is a limit. I really don’t want to fly LH Group, but at the end of the day I cannot ask anyone to pay 650€ (in Light!) versus 300€ (in Classic!) just because I prefer AFKL.

What might explain this consistent overpricing? They cannot say that it’s because of the war, inflation or fuel prices, because everybody else is in the same boat and I don’t see any other airline in Europe with such inflated prices at the moment. Are they just trying to test the limits of the market and grab as much as they can before a potential financial crisis comes? 🤷‍♂️
