My wife and I are going to be doing a lot of running around Tokyo, and I keep going back and forth between here for $145 (total) a night or the Hyatt Regency Tokyo for 12k points a night. HR Tokyo is pretty close to shinkuju station it looks like, while here it would be a long summer walk or the shuttle, plus the time to get to the areas around Tokyo we are staying.

We aren't doing any of theme parks so any thoughts on if it's worth it to stay here? The hotel does look nice, and it would be nice to be in the water. But I'm basically looking for someone to convince me to move out of the regency tokyo to here.
If your main activities are in Tokyo, it is quite a commute from the hotel and back again. It is a nice hotel, but unless you plan to go to Tokyo Disney or just plan chill in the area and the hotel, HR Tokyo Bay is not the location to go for.
