This under the "Guaranteed Lounge Access" benefit.
It’s so hard for me to remember what rules apply at what flags, but the T&Cs currently state, under Guaranteed Lounge Access:
Sheraton, Le Méridien, Westin
(Resorts included)
No alternative offered when Lounge is closed
Which technically means Plats and higher are to select breakfast as their welcome gift if they want breakfast when a lounge is closed.
That being said, I have been at US Sheratons which have directed me to the restaurant for complimentary breakfast on the weekends when the lounge is closed, and still offered a choice of F&B credit or points as the welcome gift.
