My flight back departed late night on a Sunday, so this is probably not applicable to other days of the week.
  • On the way into town from the airport, it took about 30-40 minutes by car. I was concerned about the return trip to the airport, but I also did not want to be stuck at the airport with extra hours.
  • I used the same car service as before - again, no problem. Driver spoke some English, ride was fine (sedan).
  • For a 11:45pm departure time, I was picked up at 7pm. Thankfully, the ride was ~35 minutes (matching what Google Maps predicted). YMMV!
  • To enter the airport, you need to show proof of your ticket. I was able to pull up my itinerary on my phone and use that.
  • After check-in at the desk, there are a number of eateries on the 2nd floor before security. A big fast food court + a sit-down diner place. Of course, Starbucks too.
  • Check with your airline to see if they have an agreement with one of the lounges in the terminal (after immigration). In my case, I ended up using Priority Pass to access the HANAQ lounge. It was comfortable but I recommend that you enter the lounge sooner rather than later.. they limit capacity and there was a line to get in when I left.
