We aren't flying until Sept 12 and currently there are no other award flights available except for one 1st class option with an additional segment that gets us in the following day. There is an ORD to LAN flight at 6:57 on Sept 12, but that's only a 1.5-hour connection, so if they stick with their 2-hour minimum they won't book that either. I'll probably just call again and have them put us on the 10am flight to GRR the following day.

Question, I'm pretty sure it's not possible, but want to ask those of you who know more than me. If our flight from HEL to ORD is on time and we get thru Global Entry and to the domestic terminal quickly, would we be able to try to fly stand-by for the 6:30 flight to GRR, even though our scheduled flight to GRR would be the following day?
