One of the perks of American Airlines Loyalty Points is hitting 100,000 LP that they offer membership in Avis President’s Club status and I can honestly state that this is a fantastic perk that has really served me well over the past few months renting cards with Avis. In fact, I would choose this perk over a AA SWU as I am getting great use of Avis PC while my SWU constantly expire unused as it is so damn hard to find a flight with SWU availability.

For the past there rentals via Avis, since I was upgraded to president club, every rental has been at least a double or triple upgrade and two of the cars were brand new with less than 250 miles on them and one was a cool Genesis G80 electric. I am super impressed, so far with this perk, as for many years I was Avis Preferred Plus, but never able to crack into the President Club and I am very happy to report great upgrades.

Finally with all the negative news, I am happy to report this is a really really great perk.
