Slightly OT: I remember BA was the first large European network carrier to introduce BoB. They were leading the enhancements as they were most affected by LCC competition.

Here, we complain about 10g pseudo-snacks. But on the upside, BA is not leading the pack anymore when it comes to enhancements.

Booked a SAS Go Light fare recently: Oops, no large cabin bag for me!

LH and LX have switched to auto seat assignment in Eco Light even for HON members (BA equivalent would be that a GGL on an HBO fare gets a randomly assigned seat). LH charges 29€ for a seat change on most short/mid-haul routes.

Also, let's not forget AFKL will enhance snacks which then leaves us with carriers on the periphery still providing free food (btw, TK still serves full hot meals in eco on most European routes).
