This is so interesting to me because they shorted me on points twice in the past two years. I had to fill out missing stay requests and escalate with Bonvoy CS (after waiting the requisite 14 days per Marriott policy) for points I was owed. They properly credited me the nights and I was credited a small number of points, but they got my accrual totally wrong (under credited by six figures).
I wonder how many people never realize they are shorted and if this is a computer issue or what’s going on…..
So if your stay is an award stay, do you still get 10 X points per dollar spent on the stay plus what ever bonus you get for your elite status?
