Why wouldn't it? Costco specifically says it counts.
And, Hyatt has historically worked with WoH benefits for non-online travel agents. For example, back when Citi Prestige 4th night was a thing, because that was not an OTA it always counted for WoH. AND they could book any rate I gave them (including corporate and Prive).
So I think as has been said, basically as long as you're booking a room rate (and not a package that includes flight) you should be good to get points and have it count for globalist benefits. (Assuming you are a globalist)
