The doors were too heavy for him to open from the inside randomly and jump into the pool.

Coming back from elsewhere, yes, he would get excited about the pool and start to head that way, so we'd keep an eye out. (And a couple times he ditched his sand castle on the beach, said "all done," and bee-lined for the pool.) But in those circumstances it's not like we'd take our eyes off him anyhow.

It's been 6 weeks now and he still talks about the pool at "eleven" (our villa number) and about Akram driving the buggy, Azzam bringing him his bed, and Sangita making his mango juice. He also loves watching the videos we took of him swimming in the pool and jumping into it from the red couch alongside it.

Such a great trip, hope you get to do it.
