Trying to think of what Hyatt's integration of M&MS will include, and I reckon it'll more or less be along the lines of what we've seen with the SLH alliance, perhaps with some adjustment given Hyatt's ownership of the platform and greater control to add benefits. My educated guess includes the following:

• Elite night credits at M&MS properties
• Points earning at M&MS properties on eligible rates [and potentially on incidentals such as dining and spa]
• Single-category upgrade for Explorist members, double-category upgrade for Globalists
• Complimentary breakfast for all WoH members booking through Hyatt
• Complimentary wi-fi for WoH members
• Complimentary bottled water for WoH members
• Early check-in
• Late check-out as per WoH standards

I would expect Hyatt to sunset the dedicated Mr & Mrs Smith Club and its associated BlackSmith, SilverSmith and GoldSmith tiers in favor of World of Hyatt, and to promote that program to the existing M&MS membership base. Similar to Lindner, I don't think that existing M&MS Club members will automatically become WoH members but will instead be offered the chance to enroll in WoH and be given a grace period to utilize their racked up loyalty credits. Maybe we'll even see a status match akin to MGM Rewards where SilverSmiths can status match to Discoverist and GoldSmiths can status match to Explorist as a marketing effort to entice Club members into the WoH fold and get them engaged with the program.
