It took me about 1-2 minutes to determine that there was nothing wrong with their servers. I was able to logout and immediately log back in. I was also able to connect to Japan 3 without any issues. So at that point, the goal was to figure out what was causing the issue for my wife (traced to > 95% packet loss) and then once I determined that, next step is to figure out who is to blame for causing it. I was unable to make that determination before the issue vanished as mysteriously as it appeared.
At the risk of beating a dead horse, you should put the onus of solving this problem on the company itself. Don't underestimate the intelligence of their tech support team. Also, note that those guys are closely connected with the development team in a manner that impresses me (e.g. developers get on their requests within 30 minutes, which makes me scratch my head because my own developers require around 2 days to deal with customer issues).
