While you might have a better grasp on the relevant technology than the A guys, they definitely have a leg up on you when it comes to their own servers. They know which ones are actually the best at any given point in time, and they also know how to tweak them. Basically, it's their house, so if they tell you the red chair is more comfortable than the green chair, you should trust them. However, if you find out that you don't like the red chair for any reason whatsoever, just tell them, and maybe they'll suggest the yellow chair.
