Definitely not. Joining an airline alliance, or changing from one alliance to another, usually takes years rather than months. And as we've noted, ITA still hasn't managed to join SkyTeam "for real" 1.5 years after they claimed they had joined. It might be worth checking again if you'll fly with them 2025 or thereabouts.
Usually.... though I seem to recall it took Continental only 3 days to accede to Star Alliance after leaving Skyteam....but they were a very different airline from Ita
