I made a 1-night award booking for a Vibrant Suite in mid-July. I was checking the reservation recently, and found that I had been upgraded to a Spiritual Suite. I am only Silver Elite, so this is a pleasant surprise.

During the booking, I noticed that every cash rate now includes breakfast (which contrasts with previous reports from FlyerTalk members mentioning breakfast as a benefit for Platinum Elites and above). However, I cannot find anything about my award redemption rate regarding breakfast.

Does anyone have any recent data points on how breakfast was done at this hotel recently? Obviously I am not entitled to free breakfast here, but I am wondering if in practice I might just get it anyway, since perhaps the hotel just decided to make breakfast complimentary for everyone? But their website still lists breakfast as 55 EUR under the "Dining" section. If that's the rate, I'd rather spend that money at a different local restaurant that works a bit better for my schedule on the day of departure, but if it's free I'd be enticed to stay for breakfast.
