I just checked the rates on a few dates and this seems to reflect a total inversion of the cash rates. The upgrades used to reflect the actual delta between the "standard rate" for the beach villa and the upgraded villas ($250 for beach pool villa, $550 for overwater, etc. -- except on some dates like holidays where it was vastly different).

Now, the cash rates also show the overwater (w/o pool) coming in as the next category above beach villa, with the beach pool villa substantially higher.

Presumably that will make it tougher to get the beach pool villa (or any pool villa) for free as a glob. Which is a major downer for me because I wouldn't want to stay here without a pool (and I personally wouldn't want any OWV other than the Residence, just due to personal preferences).

Will be interested to see what others report -- we had such a fabulous stay here April 21-30 that I'm already trying to figure out how to come back, even though the expense will be much greater with a 2-year-old than it was with a 22-month-old.
