Does anyone knows AA policy in refunds for tickets paid in miles as I want to know how far in advance of my flight I have to cancel to get my miles back.

I'm scheduled to fly June 24 and they say this smoke could go on for weeks with clear days in between depending on the jet stream.

My friends in CT say you can't even go outside so I'm not worried about my flight as much as enjoying my vacation.
