Last year I tried to SDC to an earlier flight at the check in desk but was told I was 5 min past the cutoff for having a bag for that flight (BOS-ATL, trying to beat a storm). So I had to stick to the original flight that was delayed risking my connection. I really loved seeing the app let me know as soon as I got through security that my bag was loaded on the flight to ATL already that I had tried to switch to.

I also had a trip to BIO where my bag was misloaded and went ATL-SLC-ATL-AMS-BIO instead of following me to BOS-AMS-BIO. That was a nerve-wracking wait to hope it showed up since it was just a long weekend MR.
