- I think that's only a question of route and where non US airline employees want to go. Try routes to MIA for example - LH, LX etc have a huge standby list. Same thing for NYC - the number of Europeans for example that would care to go to DTW is quite a bit less. And with loads in the US - a LH employee for example would be very reluctant to try flying domestic DL or even UA standby since they are so far back on the list
