yeah, with the UA website, there is a spot for Star alliance Partner upgrades. I was VERY frustrated that at the moment, none are available... when I specifically asked Turkish when I booked, if upgradeable seats were available....and they said YES... apparently the person I had spoken with gave me incorrect information.
