been using AA for around a decade since the introduced the 777-300 and their (admittedly now aging) J class seat. They have never disappointed! They are reassuringly dull and predictable, usually on time, the crew often curt ( but are known to mellow) and the food reassuringly simple, cooked well and presented appropriately. Wine is drinkable! And the nuts always warm while the ice cream sundae is outstanding.
In April I flew exclusively AA to and from Hawaii and the only disappointment was the lack of Cognac.
