The seats slope towards the feet at around 15-20 degrees 'feet downhill' (see pic 1). THAI had the same seats on their A330/340 and 747 fleets. I am a back sleeper so was mainly fine for me, although I usually had the seat is a slight 'lazy-boy' configuration (pic 2) to stop sliding forward. Some friends who are back-sleepers hated it. YMMV

edited to add AA picture (pic 3). I preferred the seat setting closest to the window, just reclined just a little more than is showing.
