I have seen a few options through Europe and DXB I think.
UA Explorer Card gives you access to saver economy award seat(s). Then once you book economy award seat(s), you can pay $ to upgrade to economy plus seats (assume you are not elite).

Do you have any helpful feedback about how to best work with United for 2024 flights? Can you comment on how easy it is to travel with United from East Coast to Asia?

I am interested if anyone has experience transiting through SFO with a 45 minute layover which seems impossible.

I am trying to avoid planning a trip which will require a 10 hour layover at every stop. Or a 15 minute layover.
There are many UA award ticket options from east coast RDU-IAD-Singapore-Bali via Europe or California.
I did similar UA award ticket routing in mid-Jan 2023 IAD-SFO-SIN-HKT (easy to substitute HKT with DPS),
and return early Feb 2023 DPS-SIN-SFO-IAD. All with 2-4hr stopovers.

Avoid SFO stopover <1hr for international connection problems (weather delays, etc.)

For your itinerary, without knowing your exact travel date constraints, you can book multi-itinerary trip

for example I was able to find Jan 2024 outbound 120k saver award multi-itinerary economy routing (but we won’t know Jan 2025 award pricing til Feb 2024 booking window)

mid-Jan outbound RDU-IAD-SIN-DPS
(You can add free segment end of Jan DPS-SIN for free award stopover for cruise trip)
mid-Feb SIN-IAD-RDU
