I’ve been very vocal with Delta and on FT regarding the rock gut wine selection offered in FC and D1 specifically. Even when they had Andrea Robinson as their master somm, the wine was very poor quality. It’s an embarrassment. Given today’s prices, for example, to Italy or Greece in D1, you may be looking at a $4k/500k mile RT ticket. Is it that much to expect a drinkable red or white wine? How hard is to to source a decent quality chianti classico or nebbiolo when flying to/from Italy especially buying in large volume?

No excuses. Delta is cheap. They won’t and haven’t change. The only change has been, as noted by others, a decrease in quality since the pandemic which I did not think was possible.
