As an update, I am posting some pictures of our room for our recent stay at the Residence Inn in The Hague. The location was very convenient to the train station, bus and trams. The pedestrian/bicycle zone is nearby with a variety of restaurants and stores, and the Mauritshuis museum is within easy walking distance. The lobby is on the 9th floor and if you arrive by car, they have to let you off in front of the Moxy so you can walk around the building (pedestrian only) to the Residence Inn area. This could be confusing the first time if you're not aware.
Breakfast was ho-hummy and was pretty crowded when we went down so we skipped it the last couple of days. The set up was inconvenient with the coffee machine tucked behind a U-shaped counter with everyone trying to squeeze in to also pick up breads and juice. They need some advice on how to minimize the traffic jam in that area.
We were upgraded to a panorama view studio suite which was very nice... in fact, "panorama" is exactly the word with windows comprising the entire wall and being on the 15th floor it was absolutely wonderful. The only thing was that there was an awkward interface between the bed area and the seating area with the television in between as you'll see below. Overall, it was a nice place and I'd definitely stay there again.
View from one of the windows.
Better view of that interface between bedroom area and seating area... slightly awkward viewing position if seated on the sofa.
