Not sure if this is a website issue per se.
We have multiple domestic and Transborder flights this Summer.
In every case, using the AC booking interface gave us much higher prices and lousy flight options. This isn't the Mexican hat dance; all our bookings are direct in or to/from Canada on AC metal.
Connecting flights to Jazz stations were usually very inexpensive if linked to another fare in the "old days" and it was always cheaper to make a single flight booking.
When I separated the legs and booked one leg at a time, we save well over 50%; we can book J class discounts and were able to have reasonable connection times.
If we leave it to the the AC dumbputer, the flights and connections we booked aren't even an option and fares are at least triple for lie flats.
Thinking afterwards, I was able to access the flights and pricing with a multicity booking - something I never used to bother with because in all my prior searches it was always more expensive.

In the end, I booked flights one leg at a time with reasonable connection times that AC wouldn't even offer as a bundle. So is this bad interface or is AC hiding the best fares/options by design?
Have I just been clueless all these years and I have some setting on my search criteria which is causing this?
