I hear this route has been enhanced and is now operated by an A319, which will refuel in Gibraltar, Bermuda and Kingston on the way to Mexico City.

The “middle seat” is usually kept empty at the front on these planes; but to ensure as many passengers as possible have the premium BA experience, it will be available for selection on this upgraded route.
