Having lived 200m away for 9 or so years, the location isn’t ideal with regards to the MRT, but very convenient when it comes to buses to the MRT and taxis. Also the MRT at the end of Balestier will be 400m away with no hill to climb. Lots of food options 24/7. Very interesting conversion. Based on address this is the Ramada and not the Days Inn across the park. Will be interesting to see how they convert it to the hipish aLoft vibe.
after researching more, the Aloft appears to be taking over both the Ramada tower and Days tower to become a 750+ room hotel which is consistent with the room count added together for both.
