As I said, it's a small change under an hour but some family members have issues with the new time due to some beliefs. The original flight was carefully chosen to accomodate this.
If the issue is sabbath observance, I would suggest that, in the future, you do not book flights for these people on a day of the week when a small schedule change could prevent them from flying. Schedule changes are quite common in the airline business.
