I know---I have stayed there several times & did walk to all those places. But if a smoke free environment is the goal then going to any of those places ruins that. Vdara is a nice hotel with big rooms but I like stepping off the elevator into a casino. FWIW, I have never had a smoky room or even smoky smelling hallway at any of the big hotels (Aria, Caesars, Cosmo, Bellagio are my usual stays) so I always can get out of the smoke but yes--you do have to walk through it to get to the room.
