I have a promotion where I get extra perks if I complete 2 rentals by the end of June.
Is it considered two rentals if I drop off and then pick up a new car (on a new reservation) ?

I've asked at hotels and they told me I cannot check out and check back in, that would count as the same "stay" - even if its a new reservation.
They told me I need to be out of the hotel for 24 hours.

Is there the same requirements for Hertz? Do I need to drop off a car then come back X hours later for it to count as a new rental?
