How do I find out the official reason for a delay of at flight 1533, ATH to CDG, on June 4? The notification of delay said “operational issues,” and the pilot mentioned air traffic restrictions at CDG prevented the prior flight (CDG to ATH) from departing on time. The delay caused us (and many others) to miss our connection & we had to wait until the next morning to fly out of CDG. Trying to determine whether we qualify for compensation. The airline did put us up at a (rather crappy) hotel, along with meals & transfers, which I expect they would not do if they were not considered responsible for the delay.
