Local exchanges are plentiful and all pretty much the same rate. If it looks too good chances are the rate is not available when you try! They seem to under value some currencies - I noticed HK and Surprisingly AU$. Indeed it was to such an extent that some might see an arbitrage opportunity.

BUT to my surprise the cash ATM at the hotel charged zero commission and gave the Mastercard rate on my cards. I have a couple of cards with no overseas fee loading. The key is to reject any "Dynamic Currency Conversion" offer to your card's currency.
