My wife has a Platinum card and the only chance to use this year’s $200 credit may be an upcoming stay my son and I have in Orlando. I am not an authorized user on her card, so we cannot make the reservation in my name from her account (and she will not be there). I do, however, have my own Amex Corporate Platinum and can make a FHR prepaid booking with my name as the guest (logged into my account), and when checking out it lets you enter another card - I could enter her Amex Platinum to pay.

In this case, will the Amex FHR charge hitting her Amex trigger the $200 credit? Even though the reservation is made in my name/from my Amex travel account?
