During my first application for Chase Marriott, I asked them before to move credit lines to the new card so that they could've approved it but the csp told me it's not possible because my CSP is too new, less than a year.
It's only through decreasing credit line of my existing card that resolved the issue of amount of credit. And by trying another time, it's easy approval for me. So requesting to decrease credit lines via secure message for Chase can be more practical for some cases.
