I booked IAD-AMS in October. I had read that KLM was moving toward having a Premium Economy cabin, but I did not see that -- so I paid for an "Economy Comfort" seat. I probably would not bother on a daytime flight -- or on a European flight -- but for overnight, the extra pitch/recline may help me sleep.

Any idea when KLM is expected to transition to a Premium Economy configuration for these flights? I wonder whether that could happen on the October flight I booked, before my flight. I am not sure how such a change of configuration would work with people who have already selected (and paid for) seats. Or am I just making something up that will never happen?
