i am curious as to how this process works. i up'd my brother at the gate, for some xmas flights, but i was curious if i could get him on the list earlier. i was told that it can happen at check in.

does that mean any checkin, ie kiosk or online, or just airport checkin? id love to be able to add him when i check in online as there are plenty of open seats as of now.

our records are not linked. my EUA's have already gone through. can i call and have the records linked, so when i checkin online i can add him to the list, or is that not even a possibility?

i was always under the impression that companions could only be added within two hours of departure and that adding a companion to the list could only be done at the airport.

but now im thinking the rules have changed now that checkin processes have changed.

any insight would be appreciated.
