I'm FB Plat and more often than not I can make my seat selection but later (nearer flying date) I'll get the error 'seat map unavailable' sometimes with a 'payment pending error' that doesn't expire (it also makes little sense when I get free seat selection). Does anyone else have this problem? It's frequent in the app, and slightly less frequent on the website but pretty consistent.

I can always call the FB Plat line and they'll change my seat but I prefer to just do it online. I also often find my companion traveller will be able to view the seat map (simply by changing the passenger selected in the same menu) where I'll be able to purchase a paid option for them.
