Hi all – as some here may know, I'm a Sydney-based journalist who attended an Air Canada briefing with Mark Nasr and co in Sydney a few weeks back. That's yielded quite a few stories, but there were some additional slides in the preso deck which I snapped during the preso and which might be of interest and relevance to this thread, specifically in regard to inflight meals – so here those pics are, shared with little in the way of additional notes or context because stupid me didn't
record the preso, not expecting it to have had so much good stuff (which was then impossible to fully recap on my 1:1 interview with Mark due to time limitations).
We chatted a bit more during lunch about the choice of meats and yeah, basically chook thighs are the go for inflight meals, Mark also commented that while eye fillet is held up a primo cut on the ground, short rib is best for inflight. And yeah, ice cream is apparently coming back.
