Pleasingly, at around 6pm the check in area was quiet and a pleasant way to check in. Yes, it’s almost all self-service machines, but staff were on hand to assist and bag-drop was quick and painless.
By contrast, checking in around 7am a few weeks earlier, the premium check in had been a horrendous zoo.

Need to carve off a portion of regular check-in for Koru.
Though at places other than AKL they also need to rope of the purple machines more from the blue machines, so there is actually a premium check in at other places.
