I used to know all the lounge rules but with more lounges open now & after reading through tons of posts, I'm more confused than ever. I have a flight coming up soon. I have QR Platinum. In DOH I will be coming off of an inter-GCC F flight (A fare), but I bought the Lite (P) fare for my connecting long haul J flight. It's my understanding that the Lite fare doesn't include lounge access, but I'm confused about how access via status factors in.

Does anyone know which lounges I'll have access to in Doha? Will my Platinum status or arriving F flight get me into anything other than the QR Platinum lounge? Can I use QR Platinum to get into Al Mourjan, or does the Lite fare override that? Similarly, I think I understood posts to say that people were getting into Al Safwa even in an F to J transit, but I don't know again if my Lite fare invalidates that option.

Anyone have experience with this or understand the rules better than me? 🙂 If all else fails, of course I can just ask and try, but I like to be prepared as much as possible.
