Hi, not sure if your trip happened already. But you can actually enter membership number sector by sector and even different airlines' membership numbers per sector. So technically, you can have your membership number excluded for your 4th sector even before beginning your journey.
That's also right. Especially if it is a transit in HKG between 3rd and 4th segment, you can just enter the lounge by showing the (electronic) membership card and your boarding pass to the lounge agent. There is no need for the FFP number to be on the BP.
I however like the approach to only remove my FFP number before leaving the lounge and heading to the gate, if the flight looks full, so to have a chance to get an op-up (and I guess in this case I would need to keep the FFP number, not sure?).
