  • Assuming I'm HBO only, can I stay airside if desired & connect airside if that's a better option? (Not sure how it works at CDG especially with LCCs). Have a GB passport so going landside isn't an issue. More the time involved in terms of going through passports & security. But happy to if there are better options landside, see next q...
  • I may have several hours to kill, and may use the time to "WFH". Are there decent quiet spots where I can "WFH" for 3-4 hours? I'm sure there are, such as Starbucks, but good to check local knowledge! (as lot of airport cafes can be a bit crowded & chaotic at times). There doesn't seem to be much in the way of paid lounges (no AF status) aside from YotelAir. Or Roissy centre-ville? Doesn't seem far by bus...
Thanks!
Being HBO, you can stay airside (definitely a better option as it will avoid you to pass immigration twice). You have to take the blue shuttle

Of course, this is valid only if you are HBO and have your U2 BP. With only 4 hrs between the 2 flights, you certainly don't have time to go to Paris. Traffic can be horrible and even by train it will take you a while.
Not a lot of quiet spot in 2B I'm afraid, but it all depends how busy the terminal is. For lounges : you won't have access to any AF lounge as you are not connecting on AF. Extime is the only lounge available in 2B/2D but it is before immigration so it means you can't access it if you make your connection airside. It is quite pleasant. But I don't know how much they are charging for a paid access. I saw the 110€ mentioned in another post. Seems very excessive and definitely not worth it, but always possible as everything is crazy nowadays. You can try, no risk but again, you cannot access it staying "completely airside" during your self-transfer.

No. You can stay airside.

I don't think anyone will regret the dumb place the Sheltair lounge was.

Yes, it seems to be running.
