Did the hotel try to call your (cell?) phone number in the booking or email you at the email address associated with the booking? Hotels in the region sometimes use that info to contact me when they are wondering what is going on with my room use or are trying to get me to leave a room while I (or my items) still have use of my late checkout allowance.
The did not attempt to contact me via email or cell.
